UK Kidney Association AKI Special Interest Group

This e-learning course was developed by the UK Kidney Association’s Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) Special Interest Group. Its development was led by Karen Nagalingam, Senior Clinical Academic Fellow in Nursing and Acute Kidney Injury Nurse Specialist at the University of Hertfordshire, and Dr Lynne Sykes, Consultant Nephrologist at Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The course brings together expertise from a multidisciplinary team of specialist nurses, renal pharmacists, and consultant nephrologists from across the UK, ensuring a comprehensive and practical approach to AKI identification and management.
